This Viral 'Fixer Upper' Inspired Dollhouse is Too Cute

Kwandaa Roberts has a unique hobby that would certainly impress Chip and Joanna Gaines. As a fan of Fixer Upper, Roberts takes a break from her job as an OB-GYN in the Philadelphia area to makeover dollhouses with her sophisticated eye for interior design.

WISTV writes that Roberts discovered her affinity for dollhouse renovations when she transformed her 3-year-old daughter's toy to look more like a real home. Now, she's purchased several more dollhouses to fix up that she keeps in a converted walk-in closet in her home as a mini up-and-coming neighborhood.

"The dollhouse was a way for me to have a creative outlet for designing that didn't involve me redecorating my house every 6 months," Roberts told the news. "I have designed homes for my friends in the past, I surprised a friend with a total apartment makeover when I was a medical resident, and he cried at the 'reveal.' It was one of the best feelings I've ever experienced."

Her most recent creation is completely made over in the Magnolia-inspired style Chip and Joanna Gaines fans know so well. Roberts purchased the structure for $129 and spent $200 to give it the elegant, cultivated and warm style that the Gaines famously curate in their Magnolia Market store in Waco.

Roberts even opened up the floorplan to give the three-story dollhouse more of an open concept.

Roberts says the bunk beds are directly inspired by something Chip made on Fixer Upper.
