If you were born in the early 2000s, chances are that you remember watching Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide on Nickelodeon. The show was among the channels most popular during it's run on television, with it debuting in 2004 and running until 2007.
Unfortunately for Tylor, that success hasn't ensured that his adult life was on the right track. In a recent video posted to social media, Tylor was interacting with a fan who had recognized him on the streets of California.
DEVELOPING: Former Nickelodeon child star Tylor Chase who is known for his role "Martin" in the show Ned's declassified survival guide was spotted appearing unrecognizable and homeless in California. Many fans are questioning 'What does Nickelodeon do to these kids!?? #explorepage#fyp
In the video, Tylor is wearing dirty, loose-fitting clothing and appears to be homeless. He speaks with the fan, confirming that he was once on Nickelodeon as Ned. The clip has garnered significant attention online, gaining millions of views and countless comments from former fans and those worried about his safety.
"This is tragic. I'll pray for him. Hopefully, he can get clean and maybe, someone will give him some auditions. It'll be a long road back, but if he wants to get clean, its doable and I'm sure a ton of people would be rooting for his recovery,"
Tylor Chase's Co-Star Also Shares Concern
During a recent episode of the Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide, Daniel Curtis Lee and Lindsey Shaw shared their concern. Both previously co-starred with Tylor.
"There was some bad news that I received earlier this week about our dear friend Tylor Chase. It was a lot to process for me," Lee said. "When I first saw, I was angry, because I was like, why put a camera on someone's face in hard times? But then I was upset with myself because I feel powerless because there's not much that I felt I could do. I didn't want to believe it at first, I was like, oh they just caught him at a bad time."
During his time with Nickelodeon, Tylor appeared to be on his way to becoming a star. However, he hasn't worked on any films or TV shows since 2011. His fans and former colleagues will all be hoping that he gets the help he needs and finds himself back on track in the near future.
