Gavin Adcock Shares That Beef With Zach Bryan Is “Probably Not” Over Just Yet

Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock have been beefing since that fence incident in September, and they still haven't found a way to "get over" it.

Many country music fans might remember that fateful September day when Zach Bryan jumped a fence to fight Gavin Adcock. Or, like us, you might be trying to block it out of your memory. Either way, it's undeniably been one of the bigger moments in country music this year, pop culture-wise. So, of course, going into "Country Music's Biggest Night," it was going to get brought up. In an interview with Taste of Country last week, Adcock had a few new things to say about where he stands with the situation now.

According to Adcock, the beef between him and Bryan is "probably not" quite over.

He also revealed that he knew Bryan would come after him in advance. "The festival told me that morning, 'Yeah, Zach's gonna be here, so just be prepared. He's gonna try to do something to get you to not play the show,'" he shared. "I had that on my mind all day, and had a crew of people around me that was just keeping me level-headed about it."

Regardless of how "level-headed" he felt, it seems like that wasn't going to stop Adcock from edging Bryan on. "When he showed up, and everybody had the cameras rolling, I figured I'd p--s him off as much as I could," Adcock shared. Well, that's good to know.

Gavin Adcock Puts Out "Perfect Man" Following Album Release

While neither Bryan nor Adcock was present at the CMAs this year, Adcock didn't sound hopeful about them making peace. He admitted, "If I saw him across the room, we'd probably both be headed that way." Honestly, it's probably better off that neither of them was nominated.

Given that Gavin Adcock is pretty busy promoting the release of his new single, "Perfect Man", he probably doesn't have a lot of time to focus on Zach Bryan right now. Neither does Bryan, I suppose, especially since he's apparently newly married? We'll cover that story later.

On November 20, Adcock released his new song, "Perfect Man", which talks about self-awareness and acknowledging that he's not perfect, but that he's trying. He talks about how the song relates to his faith, sharing that, "I didn't write this for 'perfect Christians,' it's for sinners like me that are just trying to be a little better every day."

He also dropped a music video alongside the release. Watch it here.

The track follows the release of Own Worst Enemy, his third full-length album.
