George Clooney Claims He & His Wife Have Never Argued, I'm Not Buying It

What's a relationship without the occasional argument? All the stress from bills, work, kids, just life itself, it's natural for things to blow up every once in a while. The wrong button gets pushed and now you have to hash things out. For some people, it's necessary and cathartic, to take all the woes of life built up and exorcise them. However, someone like George Clooney begs to differ. Apparently, his relationship with his wife Amal is one of heavenly matrimony, where they still have yet to find something to argue over.

Recently, Clooney sat down with Gayle King to promote the Broadway rendition of Good Night, and Good Luck. There, on top of addressing his beef with Donald Trump, he talks about the marital bliss in his household. Recalling a previous interview, George doubles down about how him and Amal don't argue. "I remember we were here with you once before, and I remember we said we'd never had an argument. We still haven't," Clooney says. "We're trying to find something to fight about!"

"I feel so extraordinarily lucky to have met this incredible woman," Clooney adds. "I feel as if I hit the jackpot. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't think I'm the luckiest man in the world. So it's great."

George Clooney Says His Marriage is Perfect and The Couple Doesn't Argue

Even with the addition of kids, apparently, George is living the good life. "Our kids are 7, about to be 8, which is a pretty great age. They're really curious and funny. Every parent thinks their kids are great — our kids are funny and make us laugh," Clooney says.

Honestly, maybe it's the cynic or the skeptic in me but this lack of arguing seems kind of unhealthy. All this does is make me suspect that they compartmentalize their frustrations rather than talk about them. So I suspect a little lying or an inevitable implosion in the Clooney household. It's no way you guys are that perfect.
