Gwen Stefani Shares Video of Her Son Zuma Playing Country Music Just Like Blake Shelton

Gwen Stefani shared a video of her son, Zuma playing and singing, and fans can't stop comparing him to Blake Shelton.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's kids are definitely lucky - that's no secret. Not only do both artists make an effort to be present in the lives of their children, but it seems they've also passed down their musical talents as well. Zuma, the middle child of Gwen Stefani and her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, has been making waves on social media with his own music. "I'm not even the best singer in my house anymore," says his father, Gavin Rossdale. It's super annoying."

On Gwen Stefani's Instagram, for Zuma's 17th birthday, the singer shared a clip of him singing "Dawns," a Zach Bryan song. Fans filled her social media with supportive comments, wishing Zuma a happy birthday and getting excited about the possibility of a music career. Some of the comments read, "Aww, he picked up Blake's mannerisms when he sings, so cute. Love that Blake has such a positive impact on your kids." Others said things like, "Aww. We can see Blake's musical influence on him. This kid is talented."

What Can We Expect From Zuma Rossdale?

It's true, lately Zuma has been looking a lot like a mini Blake Shelton, but the person most excited about this development is probably Blake Shelton himself. "We're really excited for him. I'm most excited that this boy's country."

Shelton has talked about Zuma's love for the country genre as well, especially older country music. "It's not me showing him stuff, it's him showing me stuff," and that Zuma will often ask him, "Have you heard this artist?" and "Listen to this song." He's also mentioned that his stepson is "leaning into country music pretty much 150 percent."

Just this past January, Zuma made his debut singing and playing at his dad's very own bar, Ole Red's in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. It was there that he played his father's hit, "Ole Red," and the crowd went absolutely wild. Blake has also shared that in the past several years, Zuma's been spending some time in the studio as well. So, who knows? We might be getting an album sometime in the future.

Regardless, if he decides to pursue music professionally, he's definitely got the best support system he could have. With a father who's won 10 CMAs, including entertainer of the year 5 times, and a mother who's had major commercial success, he's already got the perfect path to stardom paved out for him; it's just a matter of whether he wants to take it.
