At a recent performance, Hank Williams Jr. was recorded giving it his all. Despite being pretty old now, he was caught dropping low and giving it some, something people 50 years his junior can't fathom doing. Not only is he still performing, but he also must be trading out his body parts.
A concert-goer uploaded the video to TikTok, where it went pretty damn viral.
While singing, the senior singer sunk as low as he could as he held one hand out to mimic revving a motorcycle. After plummeting and sitting there for a moment, he shot right back up. People in their 20s would struggle to do that to any capacity, let alone after doing all that performing.
It's seriously impressive, I just hope his knees didn't give him any grief the morning after.
I just tried to copy Williams Jr, and although I'm limber enough for it to not break my knees and wind me, I definitely felt the strain of an impromptu drop. I can't imagine doing that again in 54 years time. Big respect.
Fans React To Hank Williams Jr. Dropping Low During Performance
Fans of Hank Williams Jr. hit the comments to share their thoughts over his impressive drop-down. And they were all very impressed.
"Because he's the goat of country music," wrote one.
"I'm just impressed that he can drop it and get back up," another said. Dropping is relatively easy, at least compared to the getting up part.
"I'm impressed..He's got almost 20 years on me and there's no way I could do that!" exclaimed a third who's presumably in their 50s. Looks like they need to take note of Williams Jr.'s work out routine.
"Damn right, BECAUSE HE CAN," yelled a supportive fan.
"Meanwhile I squatted down to put my toddlers shoes on today and when my knees popped he told me I had an ouchie," joked one more.
He needs to drop his work out routine asap. To be droppin' like it's hot at his age is a huge accomplishment.
