Hardy Silently Challenged Fans In A Super Peculiar Way Before Performing For Them

Weird headline? I know, but what Hardy's just done is a little tricky to concisely convey in standard-journalistic-headline-practices. Just read on, and you'll know what I mean.

Jumping on a very specific trend to promote his Jim Bob World Tour, Hardy took to a university campus to silently offer a challenge.

Hardy and two others stood in the middle of a campus, wearing a sign that detailed the challenge. The first person to wear overalls and bring a guitar to sing a Hardy song while wearing the Jim Bob mascot head will earn $500.

That's right, that's the mission Hardy and his team stood, waiting for a challenger to read the note and do what it says. The best part was, they didn't say a damn thing. Hardy cracked a smile the whole time watching the students interact with the challenge and each other.

Eventually, they found someone who happened to have a guitar. All he needed was some overalls, but a crowd had formed who were willing to help.

You can watch the hilarious challenge below.

Internet Reacts To Hilarious Hardy Challenge

Good stuff, right?

What gets me is the Hardy performance at the end where he forgot his own lines. In the comments of the video, Hardy wrote "I panicked lol." What a champ.

The denizens of the internet, and Hardy's fans, took to the comments of the Instagram post to share their thoughts on the strange challenge.

"Ok this is the coolest video you guys have done," one commented. I also loved it, and hope to see more experimental stuff like this.

"I hope he split some of the winnings off to the girl that got him the overalls," wrote another. This sentiment for the other girl is echoed through the comments, and that was the first thing I thought about, too. I really hope the winner split the cash with those that helped him.

"I would simply pass way if I saw Hardy on campus when I was in college," laughed one.

"I love Hardy whether he knows the words or not. Haha," commented one more. I suppose he is allowed one slip up every now and then.
