So it turns out that Hardy wrote Morgan Wallen's new single "I'm A Little Crazy," and suddenly the lyrics makes more sense.

"I'm A Little Crazy" was released alongside "Just In Case" to join "I'm The Problem" as the few songs released ahead of the I'm The Problem album drop.

It also ranked on our top releases of the last week. Although it hit fifth place, which Morgan Wallen fans will be outraged to hear, the songs above it are brilliant. Trust me.

The song goes over how although the singer may be a little unhinged or rough around the edges, the world around him is much worse. Although the song fits coming from Morgan Wallen, some lines make more sense knowing they were penned by Hardy.

Wallen sat down to talk about the track to his Instagram audience, where he spilled his feelings about the song.

"Yeah, 'I'm A Little Crazy.' That's a song that Hardy sent to me, it's been a while ago, now," he said. "I've always loved it... just the stripped-back style of the song, that's kind of how the demo was, and we stayed true to that."

"I'm A Little Crazy" Reflects Hardy In A Unique Way

Morgan Wallen compliments the song's writing. "You know it says what a lot of people feel, but still in a classy way... an intelligent way," he said. "So I think that's what drew me to the song first of all, just how intelligent the lyrics were."

"I feel like it's a perfect song for my voice, too."

I personally feel like it makes perfect sense that it's Hardy who wrote this song. At face value, the lyrics admit to behavior some would deem crazy. Selling illicit substances and keeping loaded weaponry by the bed sure does paint a profile.

However, there's subtlety and poetry in the lyrics. Especially the final verse that goes over antidepressants, lukewarm beers, and outrage at the news.

I feel like Hardy himself can come across as wild on the outside, but he has a flair for deep cuts and he's definitely wiser than he may appear. With tracks like "Screen," Hardy has put himself forward as a deeper and more sensitive person in the past.

Hardy's spirit is injected into the lyrics that are brought home by Morgan Wallen. It just makes sense to me.
