The memes are constant, the content is seemingly never-ending, I couldn't escape her if I tried. However, podcasting and interviews were never going to be enough. In a strange turn, she tried to dip her toes into the world of cryptocurrency.

On December 4th, she launched a meme coin $HAWK and it crashed immediately. Consequently, people claimed she was scamming people and legal woes surrounded the entire affair. Then, Welch completely vanishes for four months, as if she never existed beforehand. The novelty of the meme wanes eventually and people like myself thought it was all over. However, word comes out that Haliey isn't involved in the scandal at all. The SEC completely absolves her of any wrongdoing in their investigation. Now, she's making her big comeback.
Haliey Welch Launches Comeback After 4 Month Silence
Recently, Vulture shares a statement with the incredible headline, "Hawk Tuah Will Once Again Talk Tuah." In the article, they share that Welch's podcast is coming back and that her company is taking full reins of her podcast. "Haliey Welch and Betr Holdings, Inc. have mutually agreed to end their partnership regarding the Talk Tuah podcast and wish each other well in their future endeavors," the statement reads.
Expect the podcast to go a lot of the same directions it did originally. Plenty of discussion about entertainment and pop culture in the broad sense with plenty of guests on the way. Additionally, for people that are way too into the Hawk Tuah verse, Welch will be the talk of an upcoming documentary too. In collaboration with Bungalow Media + Entertainment, Haliey will talk about the disorienting rise that she experienced in late 2024 and how she eventually adjusted.
