Hundreds of Texans walked out the doors of a local H-E-B in Leander, Texas without paying a single cent for their groceries. The pure generous act of H-E-B handing out free groceries was shared on Facebook by local resident Tim Hennessy and has now gained national attention.

Last week over 4 million Texans in places such as San Antonio, Austin, and Houston were faced with power outages and over 10 million were left without safe drinking water due to the winter storm. Many Texas residents raced to local grocery stores to restock their fridges and water, so it was a very welcome gesture when the H-E-B store handed out the groceries for free.
