This year has been an amazing one for the Grand Ole Opry. The century-old Nashville institution has seen the debut of a pop star on its stage, a wedding proposal backstage, and a collaboration between Lauren Alaina and two fuzzy friends.

Marty Stuart also paid tribute to his mentor, Porter Wagoner, and many country legends celebrated the life of the iconic Jeannie Seely. Plus, Steve Earle and Kathy Mattea were invited to join the Opry.
The Opry has been celebrating this significant historical landmark since late last year. In over the last century, over 200 members have been inducted, and over 15,000 broadcasts have been made. And though country music's biggest stage has seen a lot in 2025, there are even more events planned for 2026.
But this Friday will mark 100 years to the day since the Nashville radio station WSM first broadcast Uncle Jimmy Thompson. To celebrate, two shows are planned for the occasion.
If you aren't going to be in Nashville this holiday weekend to catch these shows live, don't fret. There are some ways you can watch from the comfort of your home.
Who Is Performing at the Grand Ole Opry 100th Anniversary Show?
Since these shows celebrate a century of the Grand Ole Opry, it only makes sense to have its longest-serving member, Bill Anderson, in attendance.
You can also catch Mattea, its newest inductee, on stage. She will be joined by Stuart, Vince Gill, Charlie McCoy, Gary Mule Deer, Many Barnett, Dustin Lynch, Scotty McCreery, Pam Tillis, Ricky Skaggs, Connie Smith, Trace Adkins, Lorrie Morgan, The Gatlin Brothers, Mark Wills, and Suzy Bogguss.
The lineup will be the same for both shows.
How Can I Watch the Show?
These shows will take place at 7 p.m.and 10 p.m. Central time on Friday, Nov. 28. You can get tickets on the Opry's website.
But if you aren't going to be in Nashville, there's some good news. Both shows will be live-streamed over the Opry's social media channels.
That means you can watch the shows on Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
If you can't wait until then, the Opry released an album on Nov. 7 that features performances at the venue over the years. You can check out the track list here.
