Tarek El Moussa, HGTV star known for Flip Or Flop, was involved in a fight in L.A. where he knocked another man unconscious.

During a family trip to Las Vegas with his wife and both sets of parents, Tarek El Moussa, 43, ran into some trouble where he ended up knocking someone out who was allegedly harassing them. According to TMZ, police cited El Moussa, but no criminal charges were made.
The scuffle happened on July 5, at The Palazzo at the Venetian Resort. Per PEOPLE, a stranger began harassing El Moussa's dad, to which he intervened. The exact details of the fight are unknown, but Tarek did end up striking the man on the head with his knee.
According to TMZ, the fight was "bad." The man Tarek hit looked roughed up, so it's possible that more blows or hits were exchanged before the final strike.
Police responded to the scene, took a crime report, and cited Tarek for battery. However, he wasn't arrested. The man who allegedly accosted Tarek's father refused medical attention.
No more details are known about the shocking incident. Why the man and Tarek's father became at odds is up for speculation. Although we do know that Tarek's wife had no role in the event.

Tarek El Moussa has not mentioned the battery citation on his social media, naturally. What he has shared, however, is the wonderful time him and his family were having before the showdown.
In an Instagram video, Tarek, his wife, and their parents can be seen enjoying themselves in L.A. It's unknown at which exact point during their stay that he struck the man down. The video was posted on June 6, the day after, so it's possible they continued to have a great time after the incident.
It's not every day you hear that a man like Tarek knocked someone out cold. It was to (allegedly) defend his father, so in such cases, I suppose anyone wouldn't hesitate to incapacitate an aggressor. Whether a knee to the head was necessary is anyone's guess, though.
