Jonathan Knight, star of Farmhouse Fixer and member of New Kids on the Block, announced that the network has decided not to renew the series for another season. Knight shared the news via Instagram, posting a photo from the show alongside co-host and longtime friend Kristina Crestin.
"A lot of you have been asking about the future of Farmhouse Fixer," Knight wrote. "I am sad to say HGTV has decided not to move forward with another season."
While the decision caught him off guard, Knight expressed gratitude for the show's three-season run. "Kristina and I are so grateful for all your support. Television has been incredibly fun for us. We're proud of what we created and look forward to what's next."

HGTV Moving On
The home renovation series launched in 2021, following Knight and Crestin as they restored historic farmhouses throughout New England. Its success led to the spinoff Farmhouse Fixer: Camp Revamp, which aired earlier this year and included Knight's brother and NKOTB bandmate, Jordan Knight. The duo also competed on Rock the Block.
Speaking to Country Living during opening weekend of NKOTB's Las Vegas residency, Knight confirmed the show's end. "I'm not going to be doing more seasons," he said. "Right now, I just want to put my time and energy into the residency and other personal ventures."
Still, Knight left the door open for a possible HGTV return. "I've always urged the people at HGTV to bring the garden aspect back," he said. "They say garden shows don't perform well, but I think there's room for one done right. I've got a few ideas I'm pitching -- more farm-based -- so we'll see."

'Farmhouse' Added To Canceled List
Farmhouse Fixer is now the fourth HGTV show confirmed canceled this week. On Sunday, Bargain Block hosts Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas announced their show would not return. Just two days later, Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson revealed Married to Real Estate had ended after four seasons. On Wednesday, Izzy Battres told a fan in his Instagram comments that Izzy Does It was also done.
The wave of cancellations has sparked frustration among viewers.
"I am devastated. Farmhouse Fixer was one of my favorites," wrote one Instagram user. Another added, "Wth? This is getting ridiculous. Egypt and Mike. The boys from Detroit. Now you and Kristina. Boycott HGTV."
Despite the disappointment, many fans are standing behind Knight and Crestin. "Sad to see this end, but we'll be here to support you in whatever is next," one commenter said.
