Kane Brown gave us a glimpse into his household dynamics this week, sharing that his kids aren't the only ones who get disciplined from time to time. On The Pete and Sebastian Show, Kane Brown shared that "I discipline the kids, my wife disciplines me," and got pretty real about how he and his wife, Katelyn, keep each other in check.

Brown wasn't afraid to admit in this interview that oftentimes, it's really his wife who's calling the shots.
Kane Brown and his now-wife, Katelyn Jae, originally met through mutual friends in 2016 at a music industry event. Katelyn was also pursuing music at the time, and was actually supposed to have met Brown a year before. In 2015, she was filming a music video, and Brown was going to star in it, but had to cancel due to having a show that day. However, when it comes to their story, timing was everything.
The couple ultimately met a year later, and Brown was quick to message Katelyn on Instagram. According to him, although it "takes time to let people in," Katelyn was "literally the sweetest human being on earth." After their first date, the country star admits he felt like it "was too good to be true," and has even shared that Katelyn told her friend she "was marrying this guy" after they had hung out. Now, the couple shares three children, and we gotta admit, they make parenting look easy.
Kane Brown Shares That His Family Is His "Big Success"
Kane Brown has been very open about his upbringing and how he wants his children's experience with him as a father to be different than his own. He shares that he considers his family to be his greatest success and how his wife's upbringing has shaped their parenting approach.
"I would say that the big success is because I never really had that family thing. I'm still learning as a dad. For me, at first, being a dad was just being there for my kids. I never had that. And now it's like Kate came in, she had a big family," Kane shared.
"She has two brothers, her mom and dad. They had a normal Christmas and a full family. I used to have Christmas, and what I remember is I would have Christmas, and then I would go to my room and play with what I had in my room by myself. And she's like, 'Let's have breakfast and open the toys.' But it takes hours, and then we just have a big Christmas. And that's the stuff that at the end of the day, I'm happy for."
The couple currently shares three kids, Kingsley Rose, Kodi Jane, and Krewe Allen. When it comes to parenting, to us, it seems like they're doing a pretty great job.
