How Keith Urban Made Two Fans' Dreams Come True

Keith Urban made the dreams of two of his youngest fans come true. During a recent performance in Las Vegas, as part of Urban's HIGH in Vegas residency, Urban invited two children on stage, joined by their parents.

"You guys have signs lit up over there. You put lights on your signs," Urban notices. The sign lists things the two children, five-year-old Connor and his little sister, Emma, wanted to accomplish at his show, which included getting a selfie with Keith.

"You guys both wanna come up here?" Urban asks. "Come up here. You've got battery-operated signs."

Urban, himself a father of two, interacted with both children, signing their guitars and taking selfies with them. The mother later commented on her post that Connor now says he wants to learn to play guitar.

The mother also revealed that this was Connor's fourth Urban concert, fifth if they counted the one they attended when she was pregnant with him.

Keith Urban's High and Alive World Tour

Connor and his little sister, and the rest of their family, will have more chances to see Urban later this year. The "Straight Line" singer is embarking on his High and Alive World Tour, kicking off on May 22 in Orange Beach, Alabama.

"Playing live is what I live to do," says Urban. "Looking out from a stage and seeing people singing, forgetting about all the stress in their lives, cutting loose, and feeling ALIVE - that's what it's about for me. Lots of hits, new songs, things we won't even think about until we're onstage - and loads of guitar. We're gonna make this tour the best night of your life!"

The tour will be different for Urban's longtime fans. He will be performing with a new band, after letting two of his longtime band members go at the start of 2025.

"I'm in between a typical band structure right now," Urban revealed on Q with Tom Power earlier this year. "I haven't put together a band for the tour yet. I dismantled the band I had and I'm rebuilding a new one but I haven't built it yet. We had a club show that came before I had a chance to build my band, so we had a fill-in drummer last night and my keyboard player played bass, kind of like the Doors."
