The Christmas Herald took to Instagram to share some festive photos. They displayed Carey doing some prep work and enjoying her Christmas Eve. The carousel of five images had her standing in front of a decorated giant Christmas tree, and also showed her before a cutting board preparing some food.
Christmas Day requires lots of preparation, whether you're hosting or not. It's unknown if she'll have her friends and family around for today, but it's likely she'll be having Christmas dinner at home. I mean, who wouldn't want to have Christmas at her house with those decorations?
Her living room is adorned with a huge Christmas tree, with a pretty substantial Nativity scene right next to it. It seems the true meaning of Christmas isn't lost on the legendary singer.

Suited and booted in all-black, the singer wore a red jacket to complete the festive ensemble. She flashed a smile at the camera, knowing she looks just right for the season.
According to the outlet, Carey was shopping in Gucci, a designer store that I'm sure has seen her many times before.
