Bringing together two of the most heart-stopping snacks in the US, Krispy Kreme and Pop-Tarts have collaborated to create something truly decadent. Using many of the beloved toppings found on Pop-Tarts, the doughnut company has enhanced its sugary rings.

If you want to get your sticky fingers on the naughty little treats, head to the app or your local store to see if they have them in. Most stores should do, so keep your eyes peeled. But, be quick, the Krispy Kreme Pop-Tarts crossover won't be around forever.

The doughnuts can be picked up individually or by the dozen. Selected retailers will also be selling them in a six-pack.

Pop-Tarts Have Inspired Three New Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

There will be three more tasty flavors to try this year as the collaboration goes underway. Each is inspired by the well-loved toaster snack, and perfectly blends the soft goodness of a doughnut, with the highly processed one of Pop-Tarts.

  • Pop-Tarts® Frosted Strawberry Doughnut. An unglazed shell doughnut filled with strawberry filling dipped in shortbread icing. Topped with shortbread pieces, sugar sprinkles, strawberry filling drizzle, and a Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts® Bites piece.
  • Pop-Tarts® Frosted Chocolatey Fudge Doughnut. An Original Glazed® Doughnut dipped in chocolate icing. Topped with brownie batter flavored buttercreme, crushed Frosted Chocolatey Fudge Pop-Tarts® Bites, and white nonpareils.
  • Pop-Tarts® Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon Doughnut. A cinnamon sugar doughnut topped with brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese flavored buttercreme. Then, topped with a Frosted Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts® Bites piece.

Each of the Krispy Kreme doughnuts comes with its own unique Pop-Tarts-inspired design and flavor. As Jessica Waller, General Manager, Kellanova Away From Home, says, they are a "truly one-of-a-kind experience for fans of both brands. We're proud of this partnership to bring Crazy Good to doughnuts and doughnut lovers in unexpected ways."

The promotional run is being called the Crazy Good line of doughnuts, so now you know what to ask for. Bring a box along to your next work meeting, and become everyone's best friend. Well, until the sugar crash kicks in anyway.
