The daughter of late wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, Brooke Hogan, recently took to Instagram to share her thoughts regarding the events leading up to her father's death last month.

In a statement posted on her Instagram Stories on August 20, Brooke said she is relying on her brother, Nick Hogan, for information, stating that he is "boots on the ground with everything."
Why Is Brooke Hogan Looking Into Hulk Hogan's Death?
On July 24, news broke that Hulk Hogan died at the age of 71. Rumors about his health were swirling for weeks leading up to Hogan's death. According to CNN, the WWE superstar's cause of death was a heart attack.
Hulk Hogan's daughter, Brooke, did not attend her father's funeral service on August 5. She stated on Instagram that while she is "so grateful for all celebrations and events organized to honor him, as his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honor him the best and most genuine way I knew how...privately...the way that made me feel the closest to him."
In the weeks since, Brooke has suggested there may be more to her father's death than she initially understood.
"I've gotten legit calls from professionals — from police administrators to nurses that were allegedly with my dad on the day that he died," wrote Brooke. "They told ME I have to see body cam footage and I have to get a hold of the 911 tapes because they allegedly have information that could possibly shed enough light to alter the course of the narrative."
What Brooke Does and Does Not Know
Brooke Hogan also shared that she is unsure if her father will be cremated. However, Nick has told her an autopsy is planned. Brooke stated that any findings will remain private. She also admitted to feeling uneasy about Hulk Hogan's official cause of death. It was reportedly certified by her father's primary physician.
Brooke has attempted to obtain the 911 calls and police bodycam footage through Freedom of Information Act filings. She was told the records are "on lockdown."
"In the end, I have zero control," wrote Brooke. She went on to say it's all in the hands of her father's wife, Sky Daily.
"I have to trust that my brother is trying his best to get answers," Brooke added. "At the end of the day, answers would be wonderful, but none of that is going to bring my father back. And my hands are tied."
Brooke closed her message by sharing how overwhelmed her family feels. She stated they are "already dealing with enough" and that she will not be discussing "this mystery" any further.
