Many police officers, firefighters, EMTs, 911 dispatchers, and other essential emergency personnel must work during the Thanksgiving weekend to keep us safe. While many departments offer time-and-a-half to make up for not spending time with family, they probably would much rather enjoy a home-cooked meal with loved ones.
Maybe that's why Posty's, the bar owned by the "I Had Some Help" singer, is treating first responders to a free meal.
I'm a First Responder. How Do I Get a Free Meal From Posty's?
If you're a first responder on duty and in uniform between Nov. 26 and Nov. 28, simply visit Posty's on Broadway in Nashville. You will receive a free Thanksgiving meal worth up to $30.
"To the ladies and gentlemen who keep Nashville safe each day, we'd love to thank you for your service," reads the caption announcing the promotion on Posty's Instagram account.
While Posty's doesn't have turkey on its menu, the brisket mac and cheese sounds absolutely delicious. So does the seared salmon. Just be sure to save some room for the deep-fried Oreos.
Post Malone Will Be Busy on Thanksgiving
If you're hoping to catch Post Malone at his bar this holiday, he'll be out of town. He's headlining The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show in Dallas on Nov. 27, when the Cowboys face the Kansas City Chiefs. The game airs on CBS and launches The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign to help those in need during the holidays.
"I'm from Texas. I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching this halftime show for years," Malone said. "It's a real honor to be part of the Red Kettle Kickoff with The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys and help bring hope to so many people."
The show kicks off The Salvation Army's "Red Kettle Campaign." It focuses on helping those in need during the holidays. The game will be broadcast on CBS.
Malone grew up in Grapevine, Texas, and is a huge Cowboys fan. He is also a friend of the team's owner, Jerry Jones.
