Bailey Zimmerman told Billboard not that long ago that he is "looking for a wife." Although the young country music singer has female fans who would be willing, he's not settling anytime soon.

When promoting the release of his latest project, Different Night Same Rodeo, Zimmerman got real about the inspiration behind it. "I would say what inspired Different Night Same Rodeo is how my life has been the past three years, four years kind of." Zimmerman expanded on this, saying, "I've been looking for a wife. "I'm just looking for my person, cause I just want kids, I want a family, I want that life, you know."
Unfortunately, for Zimmerman, finding his dream girl hasn't been as easy as fans might think. Describing his experiences with dating, he said, "The girls always got underlying red flags that you don't see." His album takes inspiration from "Continuing to meet these girls and thinking something is gonna come out of it, and then all of a sudden, red flags. It's like, different night, same rodeo dude."
Zimmerman's Remarkable Rise to Success
Zimmerman first achieved notoriety while he was working a blue-collar job at a factory in his hometown of Louisville, Illinois. He wrote a song called "Never Comin' Home," and put it on TikTok in 2020. After taking a chance, the song went viral. Borrowing money from his mom to record the song professionally, Zimmerman dropped "Never Comin' Home" in 2021.
After signing with Warner Music Nashville, he released an EP, which received the most streams for an all-genre debut. Zimmerman has often talked about his upbringing and what a crazy transition it's been for him to make it here. Especially since he grew up a town where there was one stoplight, a Casey's, and a Subway. Zimmerman has said, "[I] thought I was gonna build gas pipelines for the rest of my life, honestly."
A big portion of the country's star's rise to stardom he credits to God, and his relationship with Him. He described a moment where his faith changed the trajectory of his life. "I started hating what I was doing, and I started getting so scared of having to live the rest of my life hating what I did," he shared. "So I got on my knees and I started praying, 'What is my purpose on this earth? Why did you put me here?'
He's also cited a Bible verse, Mark 9:23, which says, "Jesus said to him, 'If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'" It wasn't that long after that Zimmerman got his shot at a moment that would change his life forever. Although we love Bailey for always keeping it real, the country star is slowly but surely showing us that anything is possible, a message we all probably need a little more of today.
