All of the 55,000 seats for Last Call: One More for the Road - The Finale have sold out. The show is scheduled for Saturday, June 17, 2026, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
This is disappointing news to those fans who were waiting for the opportunity to purchase tickets.
What Happened During the Pre-Sale Yesterday?
Who wouldn't want to go to this show? It's billed as Jackson's last hurrah before he retires from performing due to health concerns from Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Eric Church, Riley Green, Jon Pardi, Cody Johnson, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, and Lee Ann Womack are on the lineup. More stars will be announced later.
Demand for seats was obviously high. Fans were asked to register for a pre-sale last week. Over half a million people signed up. Those tickets went on sale yesterday through SeatGeek.
Social media was filled with stories that the site was crashing due to high demand. Some couldn't get on the site, while others were put in an online queue.
One user on X said he waited for three hours to buy a ticket. Prices ranged from $600-$2,000 for what he considered "a mediocre seat."
"I'm not sure who charges that much for tickets (if it's the venue or artist), but that is scalping," he said. "I can easily afford that, but I cannot find a row big enough for my friends who wanted to come and they're not going to pay that much either. And it would be no fun to go alone."
People Are Pretty Upset
When the announcement about Alan Jackson's final show selling out was made, the following apology from Jackson was in the caption:
"I'm proud and overwhelmed by the response from my fans. I'm just sorry there weren't enough seats for everybody who wanted one. I appreciate all the people that have come to my shows and supported me over the years."
Comments were turned off for the announcement, but people vented their frustrations on other posts on Jackson's account.
"Since you turned off comments on your 'SOLD OUT' show post (hmm, I wonder why), let me tell you here how I waited 2.5 hours in the queue. The site kept crashing, and my position was reset back to the beginning of the line! Once I got in, tickets started at $771 for section 300! Horrible experience," one fan wrote.
"Just tried to get tickets. Absolutely shocked at the cost. It's really sad that those who have been with you from the beginning cannot afford to see you 1 more time. Maybe you should have just done it on your own without all of the others. At least we have your music for always. Enjoy your retirement, you have definitely earned it, and you are forever loved," someone else added.
Of course, there's always the resale market. Reports indicate that tickets are available on major secondary ticketing sites, with prices ranging from $800 to $3,000, depending on seat location.
