I can't quite believe my eyes (and ears), but that "Oil Money" singer Barham Graham actually performed at the CRS live. And everyone is wishing he hadn't.

The Country Radio Seminar concluded a couple of days ago, bringing an end to the week of live performances and sit-downs with country's biggest artists. And, for some reason, Barham Graham was there, not quite finished with his 5 minutes of fame.
The CRS hosted some awesome performances, such as Eric Church's new song "Johnny." However, for whatever reason, Graham also hit the stage to perform "Oil Money." I really don't like talking down on artists, but unanimously, the performance sucked.
For some reason, he had a live band and a backing track that sounded like they were fighting over each other. His vocals didn't help much either. It did appear as though this was Graham's first time on stage performing live.
Although many are against "Oil Money" simply because it was a mediocre viral hit on TikTok, objectively, it's not the worst song out there. It's just one that should not be performed live under any circumstances. It doesn't lend itself to being actually performed, and especially not by Graham (sorry, man).
It's not just me attacking the performance; the comments of a recording uploaded online are also tearing him to shreds.
Country Fans Rip Viral Singer To Shreds For Abysmal Live Performance
Country fans headed to the comments of the video to share their thoughts about the performance. None were good.
"Hate from Kansas brotha," one simply said.
"And the crowd goes MILD," hilariously hates another.
"Is this karaoke?" sarcastically asked one.
"So it's all about who you know....." laughed another listener.
"This is me on my 8th shot of jack at the karaoke bar," shades someone else.
"Like this for a class action lawsuit for your ears," riffs one more.
I feel like Graham really needs to hone in on his skills before performing live. Although he's getting ripped to shreds right now, I do hope that he learns from this and refines himself as an artist.
