Internet Goes WIld For Travis Kelce's 'Starsky & Hutch' Outfit

Being the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs is a tough job to excel in. However, Travis Kelce has it all figured out. Why? Well, despite him being about to play against the Philadelphia Eagles for Super Bowl LIX, Kelce appears to be as relaxed as anyone could be, sporting an outfit that exudes confidence and a particularly niche style many have reacted to.

Images of Travis Kelce leaving the Marriot hotel in New Orleans have quickly gone viral across social media. While wearing an AMIRI rust-colored suit, a gold rose brooch, a sparkling shirt, and, of course, some tinted aviator glasses, Kelce presented himself as someone who was ready to hit the dance floor but was suddenly transported 50 years into the future.

Of course, many reacted to his outfit in many hilarious ways. "Travis Kelce arrives looking like a 70s porn director... or maybe an extra in Starsky & Hutch," one user wrote. "Travis Kelce looks like he was just acquitted of killing disco," another user wrote. A third one said: "His name was Travis Kelce. He was the most virtuos saxophonist New Orleans has ever seen."

Get'cha Your Head In The Game

And while many were ready to begin playing their favorite Bee Gees vinyl records and start walking/dancing through the streets a la John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, some were not as amused as others. For them, Kelce's extravagant outfit is a clue that he is not thinking about the important game he is about to play.

"Can we just stop with the goofy fashion nonsense in sports? Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I'm not watching athletes for their version of 'haute couture.'" one user wrote. "He put a little too much thought into this outfit. Not focused on the game, but on the glam," another user wrote. A third one said:"'Only Travis Kelce can pull that off' Except he didn't. He dresses like the clown that he is."

So, whether you are a lover or a hater, you can't deny that Travis Kelce and his less-than-obvious tribute to Starsky & Hutch will cause conflicting emotions in fans who are eager to know who will win the Super Bowl. At least in the style department, it appears that the Chiefs are a step ahead.
