Well, according to MSN, I guess so. They released a post of the 25 worst beers, as voted on by beer 'experts', and a consensus was in fact reached. The worst beer ever is...drum roll please....Budweiser Select 55! Yeah, honestly, I was a little surprised. I've personally never had this type of Bud Heavy, but I've never heard a bad thing about their more popular beers. But I guess there's a reason why. Because it's awful.

Beer Me, But Not That One
I will not lie, this is such a subjective matter. I find it hard to believe that there can be a 'worst' or 'best' of anything we consume. Everyone has their own opinion! So who's to say who can and can't enjoy certain beers?
Turns out that's a freezing cold take. Some beer heads decided to get together and totally objectively select which beer is the worst. *wink, wink*
Alright, before I make fun of this list too much, there are definitely objective factors when it comes to crowd sourcing. Something can be, by public opinion, bad. And let me tell you, public opinion has spoken pretty thoroughly in this case. They are not fans of this particular Budweiser.
In fact, this beverage is apparently so disliked that MSN wasn't the only site to put it pretty close to the bottom of their list.
Getting Ranked Below Average
As I said before, MSN's list was not high on this beer. They ranked it a 1.65 with about 630 votes. So...that's quite a few people who were not fans of this 55-calorie beer.
Which, honestly, before we get carried away here, let's talk about that. This beer is 55 calories and sits at an ABV of 2.4%. I really hope that people don't think their experience with this beverage was gonna be holy. Any low-calorie option in the beer market is just going to taste like dirty water. And that's the best case.
Beeradvocate.com was also incredibly low on this cheap beer. Their scale rates it as a 44, and I believe that is out of 100 total. Wild levels of hating. That rating sits it firmly as #256,538 out of probably not that many more. So, just electric numbers really.
All this to say, if you're looking for a not-so-expensive, cheap beer, I feel it's my civic duty to tell you to look somewhere else.
