"You guys are going to love this one," Owen says. "For those that know me, I love cars. I've always loved cars. Since I was a little kid, all I ever wanted was like a cool car at some point. I drove to Nashville in a 2000 Toyota 4Runner."
The sober singer recalls that his mother was with him when he drove from Florida to Music City, pulling a U-Haul trailer.
"Long story short, I got a record deal. And I've had a few different cars. I still have some cool ones that I really love," Owen says, adding that his Starbucks encounter was a first for him. Owen goes on to say he has had several cars over the years, including Ford F-250 pick-up trucks, which remain among his favorites. The one he has currently, he bought in 2017.

Owen had no plans of keeping his Cybertruck - until he drove it.
"Last year, I guess I got this email I'd forgot about, where I put a $100 bucks down on a Tesla Cybertruck. I've never had a Tesla," Owen recalls.
"I'm like, 'No way I'm gonna keep this Tesla. I'm just gonna buy it, I'll sell it, make a little money on it,'" he says. "I got home and drove it, and this thing is bada**. Like a freaking space ship. I don't even have to drive it. I take my hands off the wheel. It drives me."
Owen recalls previously going to Starbucks in his 2000 Toyota 4Runner, and having a conversation with someone at Starbucks about how great those cars are to own. Unfortunately, when he showed up a few days later, and he had an entirely different encounter, since he was driving his Cybertruck.
"I pull up to Starbucks, and this guy's kind of staring at me funny. Different guy, by the way. I get out. He's like, 'Is that yours, that Cybertruck?' I'm like, 'Yeah, I mean I am driving it.' He goes, 'F**k you, traitor.'
"I swear. I was like, 'What?' This is before we went in," Owen says, revealing he was just picking up a mobile order. "Anyways, if you want to get picked on, drive a cyber truck. If you don't want to get picked on, just go back to the 2000 Toyota 4Runner."
