Jason Aldean shared his son's first offshore fishing trip, and little Memphis was up to the challenge.

Less than a week before his slated Trump inauguration event performance, Jason Aldean decided to take his 7-year-old son, Memphis, out on a fishing trip. Father-son bonding is very important, and it looked like they had a lot of fun together out on the ocean blue.
He shared the moment on his Instagram through a video he uploaded. "Memphis' first big offshore fishing trip," Aldean said to the camera. Memphis was excited to go.
The rest of the video shows them out on the waves. They had other company two, making the trip a real lads' day out. Memphis was videos handling fishing rods and throwing the baited line off the boat. It seemed like it took a while for them to catch anything, although their luck soon turned around.
They could be a couple of big ones.
Aldean then recorded a brief moment talking to his son about their recent catches. Turns out they bagged a couple of mahi mahi, which are big and vibrant fish.
After their fishing trip, before going home, Aldean videoed someone dicing up some fish. Memphis grabbed a fish and fed it to the gathering pelicans. How thoughtful.

When home, his mother, Brittany, asked him what he caught. Turns out, he actually caught a king and a mahi mahi, making his first trip a very impressive one.
"Yeah, we got dinner," Aldean announces as he walks through the door. There's hardly anything a father can be more proud of than his son catching dinner for the family.
In an adorable scene, it also turns out Memphis' sister, Navy, really missed him.
The final shot was of the prepared feast. Seasoned fish in a tray with some lemons, a classic meal. I hope they enjoyed the fish of their labor.
"Memphis crushed his first offshore trip! Had a blast with the boys on "the bounty." Thanks for making it a really cool day for him," Aldean wrote under the video.
I always love seeing families spending time together. I'm sure this is a trip Memphis won't soon forget.
