Every artist has their bucket list places to perform. Certain venues hold a particular historic quality to them. Think Madison Square Garden or the Apollo or Radio City Music Hall. The Grand Ole Opry also comes to mind for the country acts of the world, really cementing themselves in Nashville. That's not even touching the titanic scale of performing in stadiums. Those hold a prestige of their own, like doing a concert at Wembley. However, there's one place Jason Aldean claims that no one has ever played before. Well, until he did it anyway.

Recently, Aldean spoke to Marty & McGee, where he reveals his favorite place he's ever performed. He names Sanford Stadium as his favorite of all the venues he's come across in his day. Home of the Georgia Bulldogs, Jason says he's in rare air with Luke Bryan as the only pair to play there too. Apparently, the school and athletic department are incredibly choosy about who they allow to perform there. Even the biggest legends you could think of never got the chance.
Jason Aldean Cites The Home of The Georgia Bulldogs as His Favorite All-Time Venue
"Sanford Stadium is my favorite show I ever played. There's just nothing like it, man. As a Georgia fan, a kid that grew up there, and that was the only concert ever to be held in Sanford Stadium to this day. "They had told everybody else no. (Bruce) Springsteen, REM, you name it. They said, 'No, not you guys, but you guys can come.' I was, 'Like, really? Alright,'" Jason Aldean recalls.
However, he may not hold onto that title forever. University of Georgia athletic director Josh Brooks tells Online Athens that they have plans to host another concert in 2026. Consequently, Jason Aldean might petition to play the gigantic stadium once again if he wants to hold bragging rights. Although, I suspect the school will go in a different direction this time.
