This job gets more surreal every day. As country music continues to grow, our beloved country stars are dipping their toes in other industries. But what no one expected was for Jelly Roll to appear on WWE and throw Logan Paul to the other side of the arena.

On July 11, WWE Friday Night SmackDown hosted a rather peculiar event. It featured Randy Orton, Logan Paul, and Jelly Roll. Because why not, right?
A highlight of the moment Jelly Roll saved Randy Orton from Logan Paul was posted to the official site, and a shorter clip was uploaded to their Instagram. I was not prepared to see Jelly Roll in the ring, let alone facing off against Logan Paul.
The whole thing feels like a fever dream.
In the clip, Logan Paul seized an opportunity to pounce on a downed Randy Orton (which is very in character for him) to deliver a flurry of blows. Jelly Roll, not appreciating the poor sportsmanship, thought to take matters into his own hands.
But only after standing there in dismay for a few moments, of course.
Our "Save Me" singer ran over to rescue Randy from his fate as he planted a grip on Logan Paul's hair. A brief struggle later, and Paul was sent flying to the other side of the ring.

Let's be real, Logan Paul does not have a stellar reputation. What I find hilarious, however, is that the WWE creative team thought to capitalize on this by making him an awful sportsman in the show. And who better to put him in his place than Jelly Roll?
Fans of the show loved seeing Jelly Roll take on Logan Paul. I suppose it was the closest thing they'd get to the YouTuber-turned-elder abuser being humbled.
People made sure to cheer for and congratulate Jelly Roll in the comment section. Others, however, think the inclusion of such celebrities is yet another indicator that the show is going downhill.
