"Miley Cyrus. I just love Miley," Jelly Roll says on The Pivot podcast (via American Songwriter). "She don't do a lot of features, and I know that, so I might not ever get it. But I'm still gonna love her just the same."

Swift and Jelly Roll have plenty in common, including their ability to switch genres. While Swift started out as a country music singer before switching to pop, Jelly Roll started out as a rapper, before switching to country.

"I know it seems like I'm just naming the two biggest female artists ever," Jelly Roll concedes. "But, in my defense, they both have Tennessee roots to some degree ... [Swift] moved here and went to high school here. She bought a playground out in Hendersonville where I used to push my daughter on the swing set when she was a baby."

Jelly Roll's Five ACM Awards Nominations

Jelly Roll's winning streak is continuing in country music. The singer-songwriter has nominations for five ACM Awards, including the night's highest honor, Entertainer of the Year. Jelly Roll shares the category with Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson.

This is the "Heart Of Stone" singer's second year to be a nominee for Entertainer of the Year. But last year, Jelly Roll said he didn't want to walk away a winner.

"I don't think I deserve to be in the category. I think I'm there a little bit early," Jelly Roll said last year (via American Songwriter). "I appreciate the nod, and it means a lot that I got it, and I am truly honored. But I mean, when you look at guys like Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, they're selling out stadiums."

The ACM Awards will air on Thursday, May 8 on Amazon Prime Video. Reba McEntire is hosting the ceremony, for the second year in a row.
