The singer has made considerable strides in his weight loss journey and has announced that he's to join this year's "2 Bears 5K" race in Tampa Bay. This time not just as a racer, but as a headliner. He previously called his fans to join him in the race, but until then, he's encouraging people to train for it.
Taking to TikTok, Jelly Roll thought to share yet more motivation with his fans. He began the video in a very relatable manner, by saying how much exercising sucked.
"I just want to let y'all know something from the bottom of my heart," Jelly Roll began. "I am tired, I am frustrated, I am sore."
"But holy f--k, isn't that beautiful?" he said, panning the camera around to show off his view. He had clearly been on a run, or a walk, with a friend and had taken quite the mountainous path.
Jelly Roll Encourages His Fans To Get Moving
"I hope y'all are getting out and moving today, it's worth the sacrifice," he said, "it's worth the pain."
He went on to say that sometimes, he feels great when getting out there. He feels motivated and encouraged to get moving. Other days, however, not so much.
"Today kinda reminded me that sometimes you have those days, man, where you don't feel it at all," he admitted. And even when you get going, you still feel awful and unmotivated.
Naturally, with every hard task comes a great reward, and gratification.
"When you're making this big of a life change, it's gonna hurt," he reflected. Although he's feeling sore all the time, he also feels better for it.
"Especially the first couple months, you feel like you're just p---sing in the wind," he related. "I know that feeling, y'all, [but] stick with this, baby."
"Stick with this, and I'm gonna see you May 4th."
I don't know about you, but that's certainly got me rearing to go. Exercising sucks, but it's the price to pay for all those endorphins. Nothing comes free, dear reader.
