Another letter between Johnny Cash and his partner, June Carter, has been revealed, and it's super sweet. We all know the man has a way with words, but this letter is up there.

For International Women's Day, the posthumous accounts of Johnny Cash and June Carter collaborated on an Instagram post. The post was a picture of a letter Cash sent to Carter, and was uploaded in honor of strong women.
"Here's to the women who stand strong, sing loud, and make the world a little bit better with every note. Happy International Women's Day," the account wrote.
The letter itself is a lovely one. The context is completely missing, but Cash is replying to a previous letter from Carter.
"That's really nice June. You've got a way with words and a way with me as well. The fire and excitement may be gone now that we don't go out there and sing [to] them anymore, but the ring of fire still burns around you and I, keeping our love hotter than a pepper sprout," he wrote. "Love, John."
It's always heartwarming to read the letters shared between Johnny Cash and June Carter. And their fans love the letters, too.

"Hotter than a pepper sprout" is sure one way to put it. I find it strangely poetic, I suppose, probably due to it being so Johnny. Regardless of the strange simile, fans of country's cutest couple took to the comments to share their adoration.
"The way he loved her is one of my favorite things ever," adored one.
"If my future partner doesn't describe our relationship as being 'hotter than a pepper sprout,' are they even worth it?" half-jokes another. I can think of a few things hotter than a pepper sprout to compare a relationship to, but to each their own.
"My Roman Empire," another commented. For anyone above the age of 26, this means this user is obsessed with Johnny Cash's love letters the same way men are generally obsessed with the Roman Empire.
I could have excluded this comment to avoid explaining it, but then you wouldn't have become a tad more cultured. You're welcome.
