JoJo Siwa, the 21-year-old "Dance Moms" star, revealed a heated, unaired confrontation with Mickey Rourke during his exit from "Celebrity Big Brother" last month. In an exclusive interview with the New York Post, Siwa detailed Rourke's offensive remarks about her sexuality and the selective editing that shaped viewers' perceptions.

"There was a lot more that happened than what you saw," Siwa said. "That's the world of reality TV editing, and it's complicated."
The clash occurred as Rourke, 72, faced eviction for his behavior. While the show aired his apology, Siwa claims it omitted his true intentions.
"In the diary room, he said, 'It wasn't my intention,'" she explained. "But when he came out, he told me, 'That was my intention. I wanted to piss you off.'"
Tense Exchange Goes Unseen
Siwa confronted Rourke, questioning why he aimed to hurt her. His response, accusing her of "attacking" him, escalated tensions. "Love Island" star Chris Hughes stepped in to defend JoJo, but the entire exchange was cut from the broadcast.
"That conversation really upset me," she said. "The comment, I can handle. But not wanting to have a conversation, that's what hurt."
Despite the conflict, Siwa chose compassion. "I made it my mission to be a friend to him because he's clearly hurt," she said.
Her approach led to lighter moments with Rourke, including pranks that added humor to the house. Siwa, whose new single "Bulletproof" drops May 16, believes the show timed Rourke's exit correctly.
"If he left on Day 1, we wouldn't have seen his other sides," she noted. "We wouldn't have had those laughs."
However, Siwa acknowledged Rourke's challenges, from offensive comments to quirky habits like brushing his teeth in the kitchen sink.
"His comments were easier to manage than his double dipping," she quipped.
When Rourke left, Siwa felt relieved. "It was like a cloud lifted," she said. "The house felt fun again."
Editing Choices and Eviction Questions
The show cited Rourke's "threatening" language and behavior for his removal, a decision Siwa supports. "I think a lot of people argue he should've gone earlier," she said. "But sometimes you have to see somebody's story through."
Rourke expressed shame in the Diary Room and apologized to Siwa, who accepted his gesture.
Questions linger about whether producers evicted Rourke or if he chose to leave. Siwa remains unsure, stating, "I genuinely don't know how that went down."
The selective editing, she believes, shaped a narrative that omitted key context. Her experience highlights the complexities of reality TV, where raw moments often remain unseen.
