Jon Bon Jovi Makes Return To Performing After Throat Surgery But There's A Big Catch

Jon Bon Jovi had many of us worried about the future of his vocal performance after his throat surgery, but he is back and available to perform, provided you're absolutely loaded.

It was a little touch-and-go for Jon Bon Jovi when his vocal cords started to suffer damage. After years of performances to millions of fans, he needed surgery to bring his voice back to where it should be. He compared his experience to that of any other elite athlete. "It sucks, but, if I put it into comparison to athletes. It doesn't get any easier for any of those guys," he told Fox.

But he's recovering and ready to start performing again. But there is a catch, and that catch comes in the form of a massive price tag, of course. If you want to see Jon Bon Jovi perform, it can only be done with a private performance and an expensive limited package.

Runaways Tours All-Inclusive Bon Jovi Performance Package

If you want to see Bon Jovi perform for the first time after his throat surgery, then you'll have to book a whole package. It includes a hotel stay, JBJ's Nashville Forever Party, and an intimate private show by none other than Bon Jovi themselves.

It seems a little weird, to be honest. One of the things I love so much about a concert is the crowd and atmosphere. I would feel a little weird belting out 'It's My Life' on my own in a small room. I may even end up overpowering Mr. Jovi himself after his surgery.

The package is, of course, limited and disgustingly expensive. I know medical bills in the US are astronomical, but surely Jon Bon Jovi had health insurance. If you're looking to go see a private showing of the band, it'll set you back $2,295.00 per person.

The package includes:

  • Three days, two nights at JW Marriott Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee.
  • Admission to a private performance with Bon Jovi.
  • An invitation to JBJ's Nashville Forever Party
  • An exclusive autographed photo
  • A special trip laminate
  • A custom event lanyard
  • A special gift

However, you can't prove you were there with selfies as all phones are banned and will be placed in a locker for the duration of the show.

I would never pay that price for a private showing of almost anyone. I think it's probably best to just wait until they start touring again. A band like Bon Jovi is better with a crowd.
