First it was Brooks & Dunn and Jason Aldean, now it's Jon Pardi. Concert goers have had a string of bad luck as stars announce back-to-back show cancellations. At least Jon Pardi has a pretty good excuse, as he's fallen ill.

This weekend was supposed to be a packed weekend for Jon Pardi, but illness has reared its ugly head. Jon Pardi took to his Instagram story to announce that the shows for tonight (May 30) and tomorrow (June 1) have been postponed to later next month.
He last performed in Toledo, Ohio, on May 29. In his announcement, he thanks the crowds for helping him get through the night, "you guys made it amazing." It's clear that he was struggling, and doesn't want to diminish his performance over the weekend.
His performance for Indianapolis and Evansville in Indiana have been moved to June 25th and June 26th respectively. He let his fans know that tickets bought for the original performances will be honored for the new dates.
"My sincere apologies," Pardi wrote. "I just want to give you the show you deserve, and we will have a blast this summer."
Jon Pardi's Cancels Shows Just After The Last-Minute Brooks & Dunn And Jason Aldean Cancellation
You may be getting deja vu here. Concert goers were disappointed yesterday after Fenway Park suddenly cancelled its shows for the 30th and 31st.
Shakira was to perform on the first night, and both Brooks & Dunn and Jason Aldean were to perform the night after.
Mere hours before Shakira was set to perform, they cancelled both shows due to sudden safety concerns after a routine check up.
Fans were left upset after many had to take time off work and had already paid travel and accommodation expenses.
At least in Jon Pardi's case, he had fallen ill, already powered through one night, and has postponed the shows. So it's not as disappointing.
I wonder if this stroke of bad luck ends here, or if tomorrow will see cancellations, too. If you've got a concert lined up any time soon, I'd be crossing everything I have.
