"Kane goes, 'Gotta do the third," the California native reveals on Country Countdown USA. "It's gonna be a boy. We were worried. It happened for us.' I said, 'There's no guarantee it's not gonna be another girl.' He said, 'Naw, it's gonna be a boy.' We're just enjoying our two kids now."

Pardi and his wife Summer, have two-year-old Presley and nine-month-old Sienna. The Grand Ole Opry member reveals what it's like having a toddler in the house.

"Presley is two, so she's always coloring," Pardi reveals. "She loves her books, she likes to have us read to her. She's a smart little girl."

Fatherhood for Pardi has changed almost everything for him, including the way he conducts his daily life.

"What's the difference about being a daddy?" Pardi reflects to People. "Just trying to dodge death a little more. They always say being healthier, going into your forties sets up your sixties and seventies a lot better. I'll try to stay healthy as long as I can."

Jon Pardi's New 'Honkytonk Hollywood' Album

Pardi's fifth studio album, Honkytonk Hollywood, is out. The 17-track record marks Pardi's first time working with producer Jay Joyce.

"I think it's an incredible album," Pardi says. "And we had so much fun making it, working with a new producer for me. And he's not a new producer; he's a legend. Jay Joyce, love him. We had a great time."

Included on the record is "She Drives Away," a song about fatherhood.

"'She Drives Away' is a song that I knew I was going to record immediately," Pardi says. "I think most dads of daughters will relate to it, but it reminded me so much of Summer and my journey. From when we started dating, to asking her dad for her hand in marriage, and then having our daughters. Now, I'll go through it from the other side with my daughters. It's a special song, and I'm really excited for people to hear it."
