The "Deeper Well" singer has shared the awful incident, including X-ray footage, to her social media. Where she also explained she's had to reschedule tomorrow's show.

The poor singer was set to play in Nashville on June 22 for Sing for Science at the Ryman Auditorium. Considering she can't get back home thanks to her injury, Kacey Musgraves has been left with no option but to postpone the performance.

She wrote that the performance has now been pushed forward to September 18. Tickets for tomorrow's show are valid for this new date. But if fans can't make this new show, they have up to 30 days to get refunds by visiting the official Ryman website.

In the video she posted, Musgraves zooms in on an X-ray of her ribcage. If you look closely, you can see where one of her ribs has been snapped.

Although she regrets having to postpone the performance, she is in terrible pain.

Kacey Musgraves Explains How She Broke Her Rib

"Sooo I'm in Mexico with a f--king broken rib," she started. "Wednesday night it was raining and I was running to get some towels, and had an extremely hard fall on some very slick tile I didn't see."

"Thankful I didn't smack my head but I landed very very hard on my back left ribcage and I broke rib number 6."

This injury has been very debilitating for the singer. "This s--t is no joke, I'm in a lot of pain and doing ANYTHING is extremely difficult but I'm managing and being well taken care of."

Musgraves is "extremely bummed" that she has to cancel, but there is "no physical way" she can catch a flight home. "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience."

Her fans have flooded the singer with support and love following her injury. This is an incident that will take some weeks to heal. It's unclear if this will impact her next performance, set for July 5.

I hope she has a swift recovery.
