Kane Brown Shares How He Got Morgan Wallen Good With This Hilarious Prank

Kane Brown thinks Morgan Wallen is the top country artist today. He also must think he's pretty gullible, especially after this prank.

It's not a secret that when it comes to country music, Morgan Wallen is at the top of his game. After his last tour made him the top-grossing country artist in history, he's stayed on our radar. The Entertainer of the Year winner also has billions of streams on Apple Music and Spotify, which is definitely impressive. In an interview with Jake Paul, even Kane Brown shared his thoughts, calling Wallen top country artist in music.

Back in 2021, when Wallen got in trouble for saying a racial slur, Brown had a few things to say. However, it seems that the two country artists now have a great relationship.

Brown shared at the time, "This is the first time I've ever even talked about this, but I personally know Morgan. I texted him that day. I told him he shouldn't have said it, but also knowing Morgan, I knew that he didn't mean it in the way that the world thought that he meant it," Brown revealed.

Brown has also expressed admiration for Wallen as a cowriter, who worked on his song "Rockstars" with him. The track is on his self-titled album. Overall, it seems like there's mutual respect between them, but they also know how to have a good time.

Kane Brown Shares How He Pranked Morgan Wallen with 'Punk'd'

On the Impaulsive Podcast, the "Miles On It" singer gave more insight into his friendship with Wallen. He shared how he and some friends had pranked the singer, saying he "wouldn't be releasing the footage."

The whole prank started when Brown hired a guy in a gorilla suit. He wanted to make Morgan Wallen think that he was somehow in trouble being trapped with this gorilla in a cage. Wallen's reaction to the whole scenario was priceless.

"It was sick, I had a gorilla, it was a dude in a suit, and I have a big dog yard, looks like it holds in dinosaurs. The gorilla was there, and he [Wallen] came down there and he told him that he [the gorilla] was going to shoot a movie."

He said, "So we were walking down to the house and he saw a gorilla, and I told him the whole story about how my dad dropped out of high school — which he really did — and joined the circus, and that this gorilla was about to go to the Atlanta Zoo, but I got to keep him until he went to the Atlanta Zoo."

Brown proceeded to share that when he was trapped with this "gorilla," Wallen started throwing bananas at the cage. He just wanted to get the guy to move, out of concern for his friend.

The prank was shot by the show, Punk'd, but Kane said he's not going to be releasing any footage. Regardless, this definitely helps give perspective on the fun nature of his friendship with Morgan.

Despite any past situations they might have had to deal with, it seems like the country stars have stayed friends. I mean, to get Wallen in a prank like that, I'd say you have to probably know him pretty well. What does this mean for listeners? Well, let's just hope there's a Wallen-Brown collaboration in the future, or at the very least, a clip of that prank footage.
