Recently, Katy Perry wrapped up the first leg of "The Lifetimes Tour," during which she performed a selection of songs from her new album, 143, as well as classic hits such as "Roar", "Firework", and "Dark Horse". Although Perry has always been known to put on quite the show with dramatic costumes and giant props, fans have been all over social media sharing the craziest parts of Perry's latest tour, which includes even more props and stunts this time around.

In a TikTok captured by user @tehejodi, a fan titled the screen "No one has more fun at a Katy Perry concert than Katy Perry." The video shows Perry being lifted in the air multiple times, once to walk over top of some of her background dancers, and again to fly around on several giant contraptions throughout the set. She's also seen running around the stage and twirling through the air in a fashion that makes Lady Gaga's 2017 Super Bowl performance look like child's play.
Fans had lots to say about the performance in the comments, with remarks ranging from "She KNOWS how to entertain a crowd" to "It's a circus at this point."
A Stunt Almost Gone Wrong
At one of Perry's more recent shows in San Francisco, a fan caught a video of Perry almost falling off one of her props while singing "Roar" in midair. The video showcases Perry flying around the stadium on a giant metal butterfly and shrieking at the top of the chorus of "Roar" when the contraption is abruptly brought down a few feet.

Again, people had a lot to say. "I'm surprised people are actually attending her concerts," one user wrote. "Not every concert needs the performer flying through the air to be enjoyable," said another.
Despite the harsh reactions, Katy took to her Instagram story to add some humor to the situation, posting a close-up photo of her reaction when the prop malfunctioned. The image was titled "Good Night San Fran."
This is the first and only prop malfunction to have occurred on the Lifetimes tour thus far. Still, we know that, whether they're enjoying the performance or not, audiences will be paying attention to Katy Perry's next move, even if that means she's flying—or falling—hundreds of feet in the air.
