Keith Urban's Wife Nicole Kidman Suffers Wig Mishap At Cannes Film Festival

Now this is what we industry insiders call a 'wig' problem. Get it? Instead of a big problem, I called it a wig - you know what? Forget it. All jokes aside, though, this is definitely not a great look for Nicole Kidman. Although I have a funny feeling that this Cannes Film Festival wig mishap is not ruining her day. I'm sure the multi-millionaire actress and wife of Keith Urban is doing just fine.

Big Wig Mishap For Nicole

Alright, let's get to the meat and potatoes of this thing, shall we? Nicole Kidman recently made an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. Which, of course, is nothing out of the ordinary for her. She's quite a big actress/star, so she can go to film festivals. Am I jealous? Of course, I am. Those events always look sick.

Anyways, at the film festival, she looked absolutely stunning. She rocked a gorgeous red dress, a chic watch, and red shoes. (No, I don't know the technical name, please don't hurt me.)

However, there was one small thing off about her look, and the world unfortunately noticed.

Her wig was but a tad off from the rest of her natural hair. An image of which can be found below:

Yes, I agree, not entirely noticeable until you look closely. But naturally, as with all famous people, fans looked closely. And that zoomed-in shot at the bottom? Ouch. That is not a flattering angle for the movie star. I wish I could lie and say it was, but that would just be wrong.

Why Is Everyone 'Wigging' Out?

Well, that might be a tad dramatic for the reaction, but there have been some pretty comedic fan responses to the mishap. My favorite of which is linked here.

For those who can't access the link, the creator wrote, "Nicole Kidman having a wig malfunction is 100% a recession indicator." Which I absolutely agree with. She is doing well enough that you'd think her hair and makeup teams would be crushing it at this stage.

But hey, who knows? Maybe she prefers to spend the money on vacations with her equally famous hubby.
