"Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas," Clarkson writes on social media. "While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children's father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them.
"I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows," she adds, "and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding."
Clarkson's Studio Sessions is being held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. As of now, her next Las Vegas show is scheduled for November 7.

Clarkson wed Brandon Blackstock in 2013. He is the son of Narvel Blackstock, who was formerly married to Reba McEntire. Together they share 11-year-old daughter, River, and son Remington, who is 9 years old.
In 2022, Clarkson and Blackstock finalized their divorce, after splitting in 2020. Clarkson admits she put off the divorce for a while, for the sake of their two children.
Clarkson reveals why she tried to stay in the marriage.
"My ego... [I thought,] 'I can do this. I can handle so much,'" Clarkson says on the We Can Do Hard Things with Glennon Doyle podcast. "My ego is, 'I can control my actions, I can control my reactions. I can do this, and I can reach this person, and I can get through.' It becomes a little bit of your ego that gets in the way."
Clarkson's own parents split when she was 6 years old. It's what ultimately led to her desire to keep both parents in the marriage.
"If I'm being completely honest, we don't want to do what we saw done," Clarkson acknowledges. "I don't want my kids to be those kids at school."
Ultimately, Clarkson realized she felt it was best for everyone for her and Blackstock to end their marriage.
"You try so hard. And you think, 'I do not want to do that to her, I don't want to do that to him' — that you never start thinking about yourself," she says. "That's why sometimes to be selfish was important to me."
