An insider has spoken to Page Six about Kelly Clarkson's recent absences and cancellations, to share that she is undergoing lots of "hidden battles" in her "insanely complex" personal life.
The singer and show host has recently collected many headlines due to her absences on The Kelly Clarkson Show. This led to a series of guest hosts as speculations gathered about her sudden disappearance.
Most recently, however, she cancelled on the opening night of her Vegas Residency 15 minutes before the doors opened. She made a post to Instagram to announce that she's postponing the first two shows. This is to give her voice more rest after intense rehearsals.
With her absences causing concern and her cancellations causing upset, two insiders have reached out to Page Six. They wished to shed some light on what's going on behind the scenes.

The insider backed Kelly Clarkson's claims that her voice is "on thin ice" following intense rehearsals.
"She belts out every single note. She's an incredibly powerful singer, but it takes its toll on her vocal cords and she's come incredibly close to needing surgery before," they said. "She cannot risk damaging her cords further."
Another insider provided more clarity on her personal life. "Kelly's personal life is so insanely complicated ... Kelly is fighting some serious hidden battles that very few people are privy to ... it's a source of emotional and therefore physical distress for her," they wrote.
Naturally, the actual details of the "hidden battles" weren't disclosed.
It has been said before that when her contract ends in 2026 (after season 7 wraps), she may not renew it. So this is likely the last of the Kelly Clarkson Show.
An industry insider has also told the outlet that the singer may need a change of pace. "She knows her limits, even on 'The Voice', when she was working so hard, she knew when she needed a refresh - that's what you're seeing now."
