Kelsea Ballerini Debunks Those Outlandish Pregnancy Rumors

Kelsea Ballerini has been suffering from the flu for the past week, which has been impacting her live shows. Of course, one fan just had to speculate that she could be feeling sick due to a pregnancy. Because why not?

Just like Parker McCollum, the country singer has been ill big time, and despite trying to power through it, it's gotten the best of her. Her live show in Buffalo had to be cut short to her dismay. She has profusely apologized on her socials, and how she regrets letting her fans down.

Although the fans affected by her illness will be compensated, she's been as wracked with guilt as she has the flu.

In the middle of her illness, however, one fan speculated that she could be pregnant. Without anything other than Kelsea Ballerini simply being ill to go on, it's quite a far-fetched rumor to spout. The user commented, "Maybe pregnant?!?" on one of Ballerini's posts, and she made a video to reply to it.

She flatly looked deadpan into the camera after some silence, before saying, "Or maybe it's the flu." A simple answer, but an effective one. You can't just go around and speculate about women being pregnant or not.

I couldn't help but notice that the commenter's account has since been deleted. It's possible they deleted their account if they felt shamed or humiliated enough by the call out, but it's also possible Ballerini's fans decided to attack the user for making such a claim.

Everyone Supports Kelsea Ballerini Through Her Illness

No one can help getting ill, and all of Ballerini's fans are behind her. Although she's said she is feeling better now, she wasn't without the well-wishes from her fans.

"I had the flu a week ago. It's no joke. Take care of yourself!" wrote one.

"The flu is the worst. Hope you are feeling better," said another.

Some of her fans couldn't help but crack some personal jokes, however, riffing on the 'pregnancy' comment.

"My flu turns 12 in August!" one hilariously exclaims.

"I had the flu once, she's now 17," joked another.

At least she's feeling better now, let's hope it's smooth sailing for her from here on.
