Kenny Chesney's inaugural Live at Sphere Las Vegas residency is over. Chesney wrapped up his popular residency on June 22, but fortunately he isn't finished with Las Vegas forever. After his final show, Chesney announced on social media that he is returning next summer for another series of shows.

"I want to thank you guys for all the love, the energy, the passion," Chesney says. "For loving this music so much. And I want to let you know, we've been invited back for next summer, summer of '26, and we're coming. If you guys come, we'll come. So thank you very much. We'll see you next summer here at Sphere."
In a press release, Chesney expounds on his decision to bring his Las Vegas residency back in 2026, and to announce it so early.
"After all the guests, all the songs we hadn't planned on, all the people who came from all over, I just didn't want to keep it a secret," Chesney explains. "I knew we were coming back, and if No Shoes Nation had half as much fun as we did, I wanted them to know we'd see them right here next summer. What could be better?"

Chesney still has a lot to look forward to in 2025, including his upcoming induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
"The beauty of this music is that, even though it tells some pretty strong truth, country music runs on dreams," Chesney says of the honor. "For me, this is beyond a dream. I keep thinking I'm gonna wake up on my couch back at [East Tennessee State University]. But standing here, this is more than real, it's surreal. I couldn't be more thankful or humble."
Being a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame is more than anything Chesney could have dreamed for himself.
"That's just something you don't dare to imagine," Chesney admits "I would never have even thought about being here, because it's almost too much. ... This is an honor that extends beyond anything my heart would dare think."
Chesney will be inducted this fall, along with June Carter Cash and Tony Brown. An induction date has yet to be announced. The ceremony is closed to the general public.
