Megan Moroney and Kenny Chesney's professional and personal friendship is a really endearing one. They're not shy to say how proud they are of each other, and Chesney regularly features on Megan Moroney's TikTok.
Chesney even had Megan Moroney open for him during his 2024 Sun Goes Down Tour. As a thank-you for her joining his tour, Kenny Chesney thought to gift her a damn sauna. Now, what's hilarious is that he had the sauna installed into her house without her knowing.
So he didn't say 'I've got you a sauna!' and proceeded to hand it over or schedule an installation. He simply went 'You now have a sauna.' And that image in my head is doing wonders for my mood right now.
Megan Moroney sat down with Evan Paul on Taste of Country Nights, where she spilled the story of when Kenny Chesney snuck a sauna into her house.
He got me a sauna. He got me into ice bathing and sauna'ing," Megan Moroney said. "Once he got me addicted, he was like, 'Here ya go, you can have this at home now.'"
How Did Kenny Chesney Install A Sauna Into Moroney's Home?
Evan Paul had the same questions, and Megan Moroney was happy to answer how she thinks he did it.
"He actually had someone come and custom-build it to my house," she explained. "Apparently they had to do it when I wasn't in town, I don't know how he snuck around. I guess it was someone on my team that helped?"
Okay, so she doesn't know exactly how he pulled it off, but I suppose it would be easy enough as she was on tour and not at home. However how he got permissions for that is beyond me.
Chesney was apparently supposed to keep the sauna surprise a secret. But the moment it was done, on the last night of the tour, he spilled the beans. "Look what's at your house right now!" he apparently said to her.
"That was awesome," she fondly remembered.
