In a video which was published by TMZ, Whitney was seen on stage, still in character, as she read from a piece of paper. "Oh, erm, what is that? Let me see. Whitney Leavitt announces she's leaving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives." The announcement was well-received by the audience, who cheered and applauded.
Whitney has been a key member of the cast since the show launched in September 2024.
The news won't come as a shock to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives fans. She's experienced significant success during her debut on Broadway. Chicago reportedly shattered the show's box-office record. Whitey played the role of Roxie Hart.
The show was so successful, the six-week run was extended due to the high demand for tickets from fans. The show ended up running from April 6 to May 3.
