Gene Simmons is one of the singers and bassist of the legendary hard rock band KISS. The band is iconic, and metalheads and rockers have enjoyed their music for over 30 years. The band even has a pinball machine made after them! KISS officially retired in 2023, but that didn't stop Simmons from appearing on a different type of stage.

Gene Simmons recently made an unusual cameo on the set of a Fox 11 Weather Report. He made the cameo alongside Adam Krueger, who explained, "Gene has a little bit of weather experience, so Gene, you show us everything you've got." Simmons greeted Krueger and joked, "You look much better in real life than you do on TV." Krueger replied, "Oh. You look great in both." In typical rockstar fashion, Simmons exclaimed, "I know that."
A hilarious weather report follows, which is only helpful if you follow the screens for information. "You know the analysis is a big word like gymnasium. See, if you look there, that's Las Vegas," Simmons says as he gestures to the map. "Don't pay attention there because we're over here, Los Angeles. And Bakersfield, pretty good, but I can't see any numbers, so I can't call out the temperature."
Multiple KISS References Make Their Way Into The Weather Report
Krueger expertly recites some word salad from the teleprompter, "There's been a lot of rain lately, and the rain, you drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy talking about this rain." Simmons interrupts, "I wrote that; I like that." Krueger replies, "Yeah, it's a good line!" KISS fans will immediately recognize the nod to Rock and Roll All Nite.
The KISS frontman hilariously botches the 7-day outlook, too, confusing the percentage chance of rain with the temperature. Krueger interrupts the future cast, "So, this weekend, yknow, it's looking pretty good, so if people want to Rock n Roll all night..." "They should probably party every day," Simmons finishes. He compliments his meteorologist co-host, "I think you should probably join a show-biz thing because you've got it." Krueger replies, "That's high praise!"
The pair joke and fist bump as Krueger tries to usher Simmons off stage as the weather time slot comes to an end.
