Fans worry and wonder when their favorite country music stars cancel tour dates. Are they ill? Family problems maybe? Other bad stuff going on perhaps? Actually, the reason can sometimes be a happy event. That was the case recently when Koe Wetzel had to cancel some concert appearances. He had a life-changing, brand new addition to his family - the birth of a precious baby girl to him and his partner, Bailey Fisher, per Suggest.

Woods Madison Wetzel arrived in the world on Friday, May 23. According to the outlet via Instagram, Wetzel, 32. posted an ecstatic paternal message upon his daughter's birth. "The most beautiful thing these eyes have ever seen. The world is yours, Woods Madison Wetzel." She weighed five pounds, eleven ounces.
Wetzel sounded super proud of his gorgeous little offspring. "My whole heart outside of my body," he wrote.
Wetzel Was Scheduled To Open For HARDY On His Jim Bob Tour
Wetzel's musical plans were upended a bit because of his child's impending birth. He was slated to have the privilege of opening the Jim Bob World Tour for HARDY. But because of his baby Woods' imminent arrival, Wetzel had to bow out of the first dates in Nevada and California during the weekend of May 22 through 24.
He explained his absence - albeit rather obliquely - per the outlet via Instagram. "Unfortunately, due to a family medical event, I've got to get back to Texas. We hate to miss this first weekend of the JimBob World Tour with our brother HARDY, so make sure y'all show Stephen Wilson Jr. and McCoy Moore all the love."
Wetzel continued, "Hoping to get back out next week and party with y'all in Salt Lake City, Utah. Thanks for understanding. Much love and see you soon. -Koe."
Wetzel Is Thrilled About Baby Woods
When Wetzel was a guest on the Whiskey Riff Podcast, he gushed with joy about his baby. She has changed his life for the better already. He said, "I'm older and wiser, I'm not drinking as much. I had a baby girl last week! She's the most beautiful thing I've ever put my eyes on, and she's an absolute blessing."
Wetzel said he has also experienced a rush of various feelings now that he is a dad. "I'm terrified. I'm excited. There are so many emotions right now."
