Kristin Cabot, who was embarrassingly shown on the kiss cam at a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts last week getting cozy with a married colleague, has resigned, per NME. Cabot, who is also reportedly married, was the former Chief People Officer at the tech firm Astronomer. The man she was with at the concert, ex Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, also resigned in the wake of this episode a few days ago. Byron worked there for two years. Cabot got on board just nine months ago.

The company confirmed her exit, according to ABC News. "'Kristin Cabot is no longer with Astronomer, she has resigned,' spokesman Taylor Jones said in a brief statement."
The Two Were Clearly Taken Aback by the Attention
That July 16 night, Cabot and Byron suddenly glimpsed themselves on the Jumbotron at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, a Boston suburb. She hurriedly turned her back and covered her face. He hastily ducked down. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin unwittingly enhanced the drama when he quipped, "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy."
Reaction to the Pair's on Camera Cuddling Was Swift
The internet went berserk. There were snappy one-liners, satirical memes, and all kinds of largely speculative comments about Byron, Cabot, and the nature of their alleged relationship.
Martin joshed about the whole messy situation at another concert soon after. Per the outlet, he said, "We'd like to say hello to some of you in the crowd and put some of you on the big screen. How we're going to do that is we're going to use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen. Please, if you haven't done your makeup, do your makeup now!"
The reverberations are still continuing. Per the outlet, a video game now supposedly exists based on Byron and Cabot. Oasis member Liam Gallagher reassured the audience at one of the band's shows that there was no camera to catch them unaware.
Astronomer Previously Issued a Statement
The company issued a statement when Byron resigned last week. (He was previously placed on leave.) It read in part per The Hollywood Reporter. "While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not. We're continuing to do what we do best: helping our customers with their toughest data and AI problems."
