Kristin Cavallari Can't Stand Seeing Her Love Life in The Media

Well this certainly isn't going to help matters. I understand why celebrities can be so secretive. It's incredibly hard in an era where everyone can see everything people are doing on a day to day. It's magnified even further with celebrities. Paparazzi can border on plain harassment, social media can be incredibly toxic, tabloids make everything overblown. There's nowhere to hide unless they have the power to emphasize privacy. Otherwise, you end up like Kristin Cavallari, where your love life is all over the front pages.

Of course, she's no stranger to airing out dirty laundry. She's addressed Morgan Wallen and Kevin Costner rumors alike, only the former seems to be true. Of course, there was the whole debacle with former Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, and Miami Dolphins Quarterback Jay Cutler too. So Kristin isn't exactly shy about her love life. But it seems like it's really starting to wear on her.

Kristin Cavallari Says She Hates Seeing Headlines of Her Love Life Online

Recently, Cavallari spoke with PEOPLE to promote her upcoming reality show Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour. There, she opens up about the wicked news cycle and how it's worn her down over the years. "The headlines love to just put me in this box that has to do with men and sex. And I get it. I know it's a game. It's all about clickbait, but when it's about you? I'm a real person. It affects me. It does," Kristin sighs.

Additionally, Cavallari candidly admits that she's probably spoke a little too much about her love life. So she sees how she's culpable in the media perception. However, she also wants to shed that idea in order to prompt other things in her life and show there's more to her. "How about a headline about me running a really successful business or what a good mom I am? These are real things," Kristin explains. "But no, they would never write good headlines because they don't get as many clicks, I guess."

Cavallari is unfortunately right. To briefly peel the curtain back, a lot of readers tend to aim for what leaps off the screen or page more. Unless you're a diehard fan of hers, most people probably aren't reading any of that dimensionality she wants to express. There's no malice, it's just a cold game out here, Kristin.
