AI-Generated Stories and Pics Have Surfaced About Wilson
The "Heart Like a Truck" singer recently was a guest on Today's Country Radio. She talked about the AI hoaxes involving her. One of them showed what purported to be her and fiance Duck Hodges getting married. Except the two have not even tied the knot yet. Wilson was clearly not happy.
"It definitely freaks me out. 'Cause I'm like, 'Lord, if they're doing this [what else are they doing]... People were really believing it. Folks [were] calling my parents, being like, 'They already got married?'"
That was not all. An AI snap is out there depicting Wilson with a pregnancy test. Hodges is also present. This, too, is not authentic.
A Fake Wedding Photo Involved Her Dad
The star described a different instance of AI foolery. "Another one was that my daddy was sick, back in the hospital, and I did my wedding in the hospital room. And they had him up in the bed playing a guitar, but they put Kevin Costner's face on him. And they put his eyepatch [on] but they didn't connect it, so it's just a floating eyepatch. I showed daddy, and he was like, 'I got more hair than that...' It's weird. It's eerie."
Other Country Stars Are Dealing With Untrue AI Information
An AI photo of Willie Nelson supposedly weeping because he got a standing ovation at the Outlaw Music Festival in Arizona is circulating. And there was info about an alleged Reba McEntire-Dolly Parton tour that was also not true. All this material seems so real but is not. It's understandable that people unwittingly fall for it.
